We need you!

We can only do so much in order to help Alice and Kev. That's why we need you. We need help is spreading the word about Mr. Burkinshaw's cruel experiment. E-mail and write to everybody you know and inform them about this.

But we also need financial support to cover our expenses. You can donate money to this cause on the right. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, so gifts are tax-deductible.

About Alice and Kev

On june 9 Robin Burkinshaw started an experiment in the computer game The Sims 3, which he called Alice and Kev: The story of being homeless in The Sims 3. A short explanation about this experiment by Robin himself:

This is an experiment in playing a homeless family in The Sims 3. I created two Sims, moved them in to a place made to look like an abandoned park, removed all of their remaining money, and then attempted to help them survive without taking any job promotions or easy cash routes. It’s based on the old 'poverty challenge' idea from The Sims 2, but it turned out to be a lot more interesting with The Sims 3's living neighborhood features.

So, what he basically did is ruin the lives of two people. Just for fun! This is absolutely unacceptable. For that reason the Save Alice and Kev program was started. Our goal is to help Alice and Kev to get back on their feet, and stop Mr. Burkinshaw from any further cruel experiments.

Hello, and welcome to SaveAliceAndKev.info . This website was started after a discussion on the IdleThumbs forums about the Alice and Kev experiment.

Some of us decided we needed to take action, and this website is the result of it.
